For my Thursday post I was crusing the web for cool photography and this page caught my attention. Jeremy Turner is a photographer who takes photographs in New Zealand, Austrailia, and Europe. I liked his photographs because they caught my attention because they were interesting and had captured really cool colors. I also liked this site because he has a black and white gallery, and for some reason, I really like black and white.

I am headed home to North Dakota this weekend so for my blog I found some cool pictures of the badlands. This one was particularly interesting, as you don't normally see things like that just sitting around out here.

Winter Pics
I found this site while exploring the internet and had fun looking through some of the photos. I looked through the Ski Joring and Montana Winters albumns. The Montana Winters one has a lot of wildlife and landscape photography, which was kind of fun to look through with the upcoming yellowstone trip. Click here to go to the site.

More ski photos
I found Kamil Bialous' blog that has photos taken at Grand Targhee. I really liked the two black and white photos, the first one in particular. For anyone who skis the first picture brings with it the feeling of the walk back to the truck after a fun day on the slopes.

Grant Gunderson Photography
I searched for some interesting skiing photographs and found Grand Gunderson's website. He has some photos where he plays with light that I really like and he has some amazing action shots. Check out his website.

Bighorns
These are photos from a Backpacking trip in the Bighorns. While they are not classified as winter photography, 80% of the time it was either raining or snowing on us! We took advantage of the few moments of sunshine to take some goofy photos. This was also the first time I discovered how to use the black and white mode on my camera, so I was shooting most of the weekend in black and white.
Cooked shoe anyone? In an attempt to dry out a pair of shoes Dad was heating them over the stove. This doesn't smell the best...
Below is Mary "falling off a cliff."
Trying to warm up. I would like this photo better if it didn't have my brother's hat and the random clutter that draws your eye to it.
Mary meditating on the odd rock that was balancing on 3 small rocks. This was all over in the Bighorns and we couldn't figure out what was going on - there were large rocks balancing on 3 smaller rocks all over!
I really like this photo of the random assortment of stuff in the bottom corner of our tent. I like the lines the tent makes and draws your eye into the photo. But of course, no name brands were showing here.
