Night

Between the clouds and the city lights I kept missing the moon...so I played with the longer exposure time one night (with a Canon Rebel). It was set to manual. This picture was of Mary coming up the slide at the playground.

These next two pictures were actually taken by Mary...as she was my tripod and remote :)

This one was just creepy, but I liked the shadow on my face.

Just messing around in my room, trying to figure out how the camera worked.

The Meaning of Easter

The meaning of Easter for me, captured in one photo, would have to be this one. This was taken at the Cathedral of St John in Boise, ID. For me, Easter is about the resurrection of Jesus and the celebration of the Eucharist.

For my Thursday post I was crusing the web for cool photography and this page caught my attention. Jeremy Turner is a photographer who takes photographs in New Zealand, Austrailia, and Europe. I liked his photographs because they caught my attention because they were interesting and had captured really cool colors. I also liked this site because he has a black and white gallery, and for some reason, I really like black and white.

I am headed home to North Dakota this weekend so for my blog I found some cool pictures of the badlands. This one was particularly interesting, as you don't normally see things like that just sitting around out here.

Winter Pics

I found this site while exploring the internet and had fun looking through some of the photos. I looked through the Ski Joring and Montana Winters albumns. The Montana Winters one has a lot of wildlife and landscape photography, which was kind of fun to look through with the upcoming yellowstone trip. Click here to go to the site.

More ski photos

I found Kamil Bialous' blog that has photos taken at Grand Targhee. I really liked the two black and white photos, the first one in particular. For anyone who skis the first picture brings with it the feeling of the walk back to the truck after a fun day on the slopes.
